Postdoctoral researcher – SMoVe (Sécurité et Mobilité des Voiturettes)

Research

My research lies at the intersection of urban sociology, sociology of spatial mobilities, and sociology of socialization. It focuses on the social construction of people’s relationship to space, and on the social dimensions (class, gender) of everyday mobilities.
I am currently working on mobility practices involving license-free cars within the SMoVe research, as well as on people who do not hold a driver’s license (“sans permis”) and their relationship to mobility norms and policies.

Keywords: driver’s license, spatial socialization, mobility norms, gender, social class, border regions.
